“B” stands for Believe.

  • A person must believe that Jesus is God’s Son and that God sent Jesus to pay the penalty for sin. Verses about believing include John 3:16; John 14:6; and Romans 5:8.

“C” stands for Confess.

  • A person must confess their faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. Read Romans 10:9-10, 13.

Dear God,
Thank You for choosing to love me! I know I am a sinner. I believe You sent Your Son, Jesus Christ, to die for my sins. I believe He rose again and lives today. Today, I repent and turn away from my sin. Thank You for Your wonderful love and for changing my life forever. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

We would love to hear from you if you prayed a prayer to become a Christian, like the one above, or, if you would like to talk to someone about becoming a Christian, email Mike Lovato, Executive Pastor of Discipleship.

PARENTS: remember it is not your job to “save” your child – it is God’s! However, as a parent, you have the responsibility (and privilege) of guiding your child to faith in Christ. Pray that God will give you the wisdom to teach your child about Him. Then know that you can only do this with His help and thank Him for His guidance. After all, He loves your child even more than you do!
