Our mission is to lead people to become authentic followers of Jesus Christ.
This simple mission is the driving force behind everything we do as a church. We want to help you take your next step on our discipleship path no matter where you may be in your journey of becoming an authentic follower of Jesus. We’ve broken this path down into four simple pieces:
- CONNECT with God and others
- GROW in community
- SERVE others
- GO share the Good News
Connect with God and Others
Our Sunday morning services at 9:30 AM or 11:00 AM create an environment for you to connect with God through worship.
Baptism is one of the first steps of obedience for a follower of Jesus. It publicly identifies you as belonging to both Jesus and His family, the church.
We believe that church isn’t an event you come to; it’s a family you belong to. Our CONNECT Class helps you discover what membership at Magnolia Church is all about.
Grow in Community
Life Groups are your place to build meaningful relationships as you study the Bible with others.
You open yourself to transformation through God’s Word as you dive into our core GROW Workshops – Guide to the Bible, Christian Theology, and Spiritual Disciplines.
Serve others
God has uniquely designed you to serve those around you. Discover the opportunities available to volunteer at Magnolia Church and in our local community.
Go and share the Good News
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come on you, and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” – Acts 1:8 (HCSB)
We’ve applied this verse to our modern context and affectionately call it our Acts 1:8 Strategy.
· Jerusalem = Riverside and the Inland Empire
· Judea = California and the West Coast
· Samaria = Mexico and the rest of North America
· Ends of the Earth = South Asia and the World
Every follower of Jesus gets the opportunity to share the Good News of Jesus with others! We encourage you to daily look for opportunities to tell your faith story and share the Gospel with people you encounter.
It’s also essential for each of us to intentionally reach out beyond our comfort zone and take the gospel even further through our local and global outreach efforts.
