Ways to Serve

We believe that every person brings something to the table at Magnolia Church! All the incredible ministry at our church only happens because amazing volunteers like you! Take a look below at current opportunities to serve and then fill out our volunteer application to get started.

Volunteer positions that work with minors or vulnerable populations must complete a background screening process.

  • Welcome Team: Greeters and Check-in
  • Program Team: Small group leaders, worship leaders, storytellers, assistants
  • Prep Team: At home or on-site (application not required; please email directly)
  • Buddies: Pair up with kids with disabilities

    Baristas - Join us in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere by volunteering at the Courtyard Cafe on Sunday mornings. It's a wonderful opportunity to serve our community, meet new people, and enjoy some delicious coffee! Experience is welcome but not required. Minimum age to volunteer is 16 years old. ☕😊

    • Parking Team – Help guests find a close spot to park for services.
    • Ushers – Help seat people in our Worship Center when it is needed, and help people know when it is appropriate to enter the Worship Center without causing a disruption.
    • Greeters – Demonstrate intentional care for people the moment they set foot on our campus.
    • Prayer Counselors – Meet with those who come forward after each service for counseling, spiritual concerns, or prayer.
    • Mag Central Team – Provide information to guests at Mag Central.
    • Safety Team – Volunteer to help ensure our campus remains safe during services.

  • Set Free Prison Ministries – Grade correspondence discipleship courses for inmates around the world from your home or with a small group. English and Spanish graders needed.  Contact Phil Wagner at (951) 729-5499.
  • Magnolia Pantry – Help local families lower their grocery bills by assisting with monthly food distribution (typically the 4th Saturday of each month). Opportunities are available for food pickup, food sorting, box prep, box distribution, and follow-up phone calls.
  • ESL (English as Second Language) - Share the gospel as you help English learners with their language skills.
  • Guest Chef -  An outreach ministry where a team cooks and serves dinner for the Path Life Ministry family shelter clients every third Sunday of the month. If you're interested in lending a hand, please don't hesitate to call 951-689-5700.
